Job summary

Leidos UK & EUROPE is seeking a 3rd Line Engineer in Huntingdon to perform complex fault rectification of incidents and support Problem Management, CSI, and occasional Change Requests on IT systems supporting national security outputs.

The role requires hands-on maintenance of JUNO and other systems, strong troubleshooting, and collaboration with multiple resolver groups. A DV clearance is highlighted in the posting, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of virtualization and VDI environments.
• Experience with backup and recovery technologies.
• Solid Windows Server and Active Directory administration skills.
• Linux system administration experience.
• Networking knowledge including load balancing and firewalls.
• Experience with Kubernetes-based containerised applications.

Responsibilities

• System support and ticket resolution for critical systems with SLA adherence.
• Root cause analysis and collaboration with resolver groups and vendors.
• Periodic maintenance and software upgrades to prevent obsolescence.
• Document configuration changes and maintain system records.
• Assist in installation and deployment of infrastructure components.
• Engage in infrastructure projects and CR implementations.
