Job summary

JobsTrackR is seeking a 3D CAD Technician for an on-site, permanent role in Oldham. You will be hands-on with 3D designs, assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings, liaising with engineering and production teams, and occasionally visiting sites.

The role requires experience in 3D CAD, AutoCAD or Inventor, and a strong eye for detail and problem solving. Monday-Thursday 08:00–16:30, Friday 08:00–15:30; 25 days holiday, pension and on-site parking are provided.

We’re working with an established and growing engineering business that is looking for a talented 3D CAD Technician to join their team.

This is a hands‑on role with plenty of variety, working on 3D designs, assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings.

What you’ll be doing as a CAD Technician

• Creating 3D models and assemblies
• Producing manufacturing drawings
• Supporting new and existing product development
• Managing your own projects and deadlines
• Working closely with Engineering and Production teams
• Liaising with customers and engineers when required
• Occasional site visits

What we’re looking for in a CAD Technician

• Experience in 3D CAD / mechanical design
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Inventor
