Edwards in Bolton, United Kingdom, is seeking a CAD Engineer to join our team. You will develop 3-D CAD models and drawings using Inventor, collaborating with engineering disciplines and global suppliers to meet project standards.

The role requires experience with steam ejector and pump systems, plus knowledge of pressure vessels, welding, NDT and PED requirements. Strong MS Office skills and a relevant engineering qualification are essential.

Qualifications

• Considerable experience of steam ejector system, liquid ring pump system and water injection deaerator design and drawing preferred.
• Knowledge of pressure vessel and heat exchanger fabrication, pressure vessel design codes, welding techniques and practices, non-destructive testing methods/procedures and PED requirements.
• Computer literate including effective use of MS Office software, including Microsoft Project.
• HND, HNC, BTEC or similar in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Thorough knowledge of MS office software especially Excel, Word and Project.

Responsabilités

• Develop and produce 3-D CAD models and associated drawings using Inventor.
• Work closely with engineering disciplines and global suppliers.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers on technical matters.
• Archive CAD files in the Vault system.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for engineering and ability to innovate and solve problems.
• Operate within ISO 9001 quality management system.
