Job summary

Two Point Studios is seeking a skilled 3D Artist to contribute to asset creation for our upcoming titles. You will work under the Senior Artist, collaborating with the internal art team to meet project standards and support multiple projects in development.

You will be involved in ideation, modelling, texturing and in-engine setup, while aligning with art direction and quality across the game. The role requires strong communication and a passion for high-quality game art.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as an artist within the games industry.
• Fast and efficient 3D modelling and texture authoring.
• Able to work on new ideas from briefs rather than just following concept art.
• Able to communicate effectively with fellow artists, designers and programmers.
• A creative eye and care for art direction in your own work and the work of your team.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Lead Artist to represent and champion the art direction, quality and standards for our games.
• Collaborate with Production to deliver milestones and required art assets.
• Coordinate with development teams (code, design and animation) to ensure assets integrate with the game.

About the 3D Artist role: We’re looking for a 3D Artist to join our studio to contribute to asset creation to ensure our ‘Little People’ have a fantastically rich and expansive world to inhabit in some of our exciting upcoming releases., to work on some of our exciting upcoming releases. Reporting to the Senior Artist,you’llwork closely with the internal art team atTwo PointStudios, contributing to the art requirements and standards for our multiple projects in development, with a focus on 3D art and asset creation. In this roleyou’llbe working with the Art, Code, Design and Animation teams to contribute ideas and work together to cohesively make our game shine in all aspects.You’llbe an enthusiastic and self-motivated team member who has a passion for 3D art and making excellent games. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, solid workethicand a positive, friendly attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Working with the Lead Artist to be another representative and champion of the art direction,qualityand standards for our games
• Working with the Production team to deliver the milestones and sprints for our games, and the required art assets
• Working closely with the development team (code,designand animation) to deliver the best cohesive experience and ensure your assets work amazingly with all other aspects of the game
• Asset creation from ideation, modelling, texturing and setting up in-engine
• Follow guidelines and documentation for optimisation, pipelineand efficiency tasks

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years’experience as an artist within the games industry
• A team player who is passionate about working with design to make the best game in terms of art and gameplay
• A passion to develop and support others
• Fast and efficient 3D modelling and texture authoring
• A creative eye and care for art direction in your own work and the work of your team
• Able to work onnew ideasfrom briefs rather than just following concept art
• Knowledge of major art software packages as Maya (or Blender), Photoshop and Adobe Substance Painter (Designer is a plus)
• Experience with Unity or other recognised game engines
• Able to communicate effectively with fellow artists,designersand programmers
• Real passion for making game art

Not essential, but it helps if you have:

• Played and are familiar with the Two Point games
