Job summary

Chartwells is seeking an ambitious Chef to deliver exceptional food experiences on a full-time basis (37 hours per week) for the education sector in the UK. You will prepare high-quality meals, manage menu changes, and lead a kitchen team while upholding stringent hygiene standards.

The ideal candidate holds City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ, a Food Hygiene certificate, and has prior supervisory experience. Join Chartwells and help brighten clients' days through great-tasting food.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve food services.
• Listen to customer feedback to improve services.
• Support creation of new menus and concepts.
• Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Oversee kitchen cleaning and hygiene standards.
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations.
