Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is seeking an experienced 360 Plant Operator to join a well-established Doncaster site. You will operate a 360 excavator and other plant machinery in a busy operational environment, following safety rules and site procedures.

The role offers a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with day (6am-6pm) and night (6pm-6am) shifts, long-term ongoing work and potential permanent employment. Full site training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a 360 excavator / plant machinery - essential.
• 360 Grab experience is highly advantageous
• Experience operating other plant machinery is desirable
• Good communication skills and reliability

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 360 plant machinery
• Operate a 360 Grab where required
• Carry out pre-use checks
• Identify and report defects or maintenance issues
• Carry out routine maintenance checks
• Follow site rules and procedures
• Maintain high housekeeping standards
• Monitor operations and report irregularities
• Adhere to HSE and PPE requirements
• Comply with ISO and management system requirements
• Assist with tilter operations
• Communicate professionally with colleagues and management
• Work closely with the wider operational team
• Provide feedback and contribute to continuous improvement

HRGO Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established operational and recycling company for experienced 360 Plant Operators to join their team in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience operating 360 excavators and other plant machinery within a busy operational environment.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience operating a 360 Grab and additional plant machinery. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business offering long-term ongoing work with potential for permanent employment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate 360 plant machinery
• Operate a 360 Grab where required
• Carry out all required pre-use checks
• Identify and report any defects or maintenance issues
• Carry out regular maintenance checks
• Follow all site rules, procedures and operational requirements
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping

About You:

• Previous experience operating a 360 excavator / plant machinery - essential

• Able to confidently complete pre-use checks
• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements
• Able to identify potential hazards and report issues appropriately
• Reliable and punctual
• Good communication skills
• Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Confident using own initiative within a busy operational environment
• Willing to complete all required site training
• Flexible and able to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern
