Job summary

Norse Contracts Ltd is recruiting experienced 360 Machine Operators for a major industrial development in Bedford. Immediate starts available, with long-term work on a large-scale site.

You will operate 360 excavators, read site drawings, and work closely with groundwork teams to maintain production and safety on site. Valid CSCS/NPORS tickets and own PPE are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card.
• CPCS or NPORS ticket for 360 excavator (essential).
• Previous experience operating on large-scale construction sites.
• Own PPE.
• Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Operate 360 excavators for excavation, trenching, and backfilling.
• Dig foundations, drainage runs, and service trenches.
• Work with groundwork gangs to keep production moving.
• Load/unload materials and spoil safely and efficiently.
• Read and work from site drawings and levels.
• Carry out daily machine checks and report faults.
• Maintain a safe, tidy work area at all times.

Norse are currently recruiting experienced 360 Machine Operators for a large-scale industrial development in Bedford. Immediate starts available, with additional positions starting end of July. This is a great opportunity for long-term work on a major project.

Responsibilities

• Operating 360 excavators for excavation, trenching, and backfilling
• Digging and forming foundations, drainage runs, and service trenches
• Working closely with groundwork gangs to keep production moving
• Loading/unloading materials and spoil safely and efficiently
• Reading and working from site drawings and levels
• Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting any faults
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and to spec
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work area at all times

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card
• CPCS or NPORS ticket for 360 excavator (essential)
• Previous experience operating on large-scale construction sites
• Own PPE
• Reliable and punctual
