Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking a reliable 360 Excavator Operator to join our construction team in the United Kingdom. The role involves operating 360 excavators safely across various sites, following plans and site instructions to perform digging, trenching, grading and loading tasks.

You will conduct daily checks, report issues, maintain a clean work area and ensure safe operation around other plant and personnel. A valid CPCS/NPORS qualification and solid health and safety knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a 360 excavator in construction sites.
• Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate 360 excavators of various sizes and specifications.
• Carry out excavation, digging, trenching, grading and loading duties.
• Follow site plans, drawings and instructions from site management.
• Carry out daily machine checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Work safely around other plant, vehicles, workers and members of the public.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Follow all company and site health & safety procedures.
• Assist with general site duties when required.
• Ensure machinery is operated correctly and efficiently at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a 360 excavator in a construction environment.
• Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator qualification.
• Relevant construction/site experience.
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Good communication skills.
• Relevant tickets and certifications must be valid and in date.
