Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd is seeking a 360 Excavator Operator for an in-person role in York. The position offers an hourly pay rate of £23 per hour under PAYE Umbrella arrangements with site-based duties on construction sites.

Responsibilities include operating 360 excavators, reading plans, inspecting equipment, and performing foundation work, ground levelling, and associated tasks to support solar construction projects. Must have CPCS or NPORS and valid ID, PPE, and be prepared to work safely on site.

• Full PPE.
• CPCS or NPORS ticket.

Responsibilities

• Operate 360 excavators safely on rotating bases.
• Interpret technical plans, observe site markings and laser levels.
• Carry out routine machine inspections and operate ancillary equipment.
• Dig foundations and level ground, and perform grading/topsoil works.
• Demolish structures or break up concrete as required on site.
• Assist groundworkers and perform lifting operations with large materials.
• Dredge ditches and rivers, lay pipes to supply water, and ensure safety on site.

360 Excavator Operator

Required in York

Pay £23/hr

The day-to-day duties will consist of:

• Operating 360 excavators safely mounted on rotating bases safely


• Interpreting technical plans and observing site markings and laser levels


• Carrying out routine machine inspections


• Fitting and operating ancillary equipment


• Digging foundations and levelling ground


• Landscaping terrain in preparation for building new solar structures


• Demolishing existing structures or breaking up concrete


• Carrying out lifting operations involving large materials


• Dredging ditches and rivers and laying pipes to supply water to buildings


• Helping groundworkers on site when necessary


• Performing all required duties on site as instructed by the site management team


• Conduct work according to industry health and safety standards


• Grading and Top Soil works


• Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines
