Job summary

RGM Recruitment Ltd is seeking two qualified 360 Excavator Operators for a temporary assignment on a Kent construction site. The role covers safe operation, trenching, earthmoving, loading materials and coordinating with groundworkers, with daily checks and strict safety adherence.

Candidates must hold CPCS/NPORS for 360 excavator, CSCS card, PPE, and references. Availability from 2 November to 18 December 2026 is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS card for 360 excavator operation.
• Must hold a valid CSCS card.
• Must have the correct PPE: boots, hard hat and high-visibility vest.
• References available on request.
• Previous experience operating 360 excavators on construction sites.
• Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
• Able to carry out daily machinery checks and identify safety issues.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Available for the full duration: 2 Nov – 18 Dec 2026.

Responsibilities

• Operate 360 excavators safely and efficiently.

• Report any defects, damage or mechanical issues with the machinery.
• Keep the work area safe and tidy while carrying out duties.
• Carry out any other reasonable operating duties required on site.

START DATE: 2nd November 2026

END DATE: 18th December 2026

PAY RATE: £22.00 per hour

This is a temporary opportunity for two qualified 360 Excavator Operators to join the site team for the duration of the project. Successful candidates will be responsible for operating 360 excavators safely and efficiently while supporting the day-to-day site operations.

We are looking for competent operators who have relevant experience, take health and safety seriously and can work effectively alongside other site personnel. Applicants must be reliable, punctual and available for the full duration of the assignment.

• Carrying out excavation, digging, trenching and earthmoving duties as instructed.
• Loading and moving materials using the excavator where required.

• Ensuring the excavator is operated within its safe working limits.
• Following site plans, instructions and guidance from site management.
