Job summary

A busy Leeds-based waste management operation is seeking a Multiskilled Operative to join the team. You will operate a 360 excavator safely to support processing and movement of recyclable materials while upholding the highest health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include daily pre-use inspections, safe loading of waste materials, and maintaining a clean, spill-free work area. You will work within the site operations team to help hit daily targets and support ongoing operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 360 excavator safely to process and load recyclable materials.
• Carry out daily pre-use inspections and report any defects.
• Ensure waste materials are loaded safely and efficiently.
• Promptly clear spillages and maintain a clean working area.
• Operate plant machinery in line with company procedures and health & safety regulations.
• Work effectively as part of the site operations team to achieve daily targets.
