Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group is seeking a full-time CPCS 360 Excavator operator to work on a client site in the Norwich area. The role requires operating excavators and other heavy machinery with precision and safety awareness.

Duties include site excavation, grading, trenching and material handling, plus inspections, maintenance and compliance with project plans. You’ll work with the team to ensure safe, efficient progress and report any issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS Blue Card is required.
• Proven experience operating excavators.
• EUSR CAT & Genny knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and other heavy machinery with precision and safety awareness
• Assist in site excavation, grading, trenching, and material handling tasks
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Follow project plans and specifications to complete assigned tasks accurately
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all safety standards are met at all times
• Assist with loading and unloading materials using appropriate machinery
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to supervisors
