Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group is recruiting an experienced 360 Excavator Operator to join the Lower Thames Crossing project in Grays, Essex. The role offers £27 per hour (CIS) with weekly pay and long-term stability on one of the UK's flagship infrastructure schemes.

You will operate safely, perform earthworks and drainage tasks, follow engineering drawings, and work with site engineers and other crews to deliver planned works. CPCS Blue Card or NPORS required, and you must hold Safety Critical Medical.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS Blue Card or NPORS (CSCS Logo) for 360 Excavator.
• Must hold Safety Critical Medical.
• Proven earthworks experience operating a 360 excavator.
• Experience on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Good understanding of excavation techniques and working around live services.
• Strong health and safety awareness on site.

Responsibilities

• Operate 360 excavators safely and efficiently on the Lower Thames Crossing project.
• Carry out bulk earthworks, trenching, grading, excavation, drainage, and material handling duties.
• Excavate accurately to engineering drawings and site specifications.
• Work safely around live services, utilities, and other site personnel.
• Collaborate with site engineers, supervisors, banksmen, groundworkers, and plant operatives to deliver planned works.
• Carry out daily plant inspections and report defects.
• Maintain machinery per manufacturer guidelines.
• Follow all site traffic management, exclusion zones, lifting operations, and plant movement procedures.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the work area.
• Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and site procedures at all times.
