Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a reliable 360 Excavator Operator for an immediate start in Carlisle, Cumbria. You will operate a 360° excavator on-site to perform groundwork tasks for a new commercial development (Burger King).

Applicants must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS card with a 360 ticket and be able to travel to the Carlisle site. PPE and a proven track record on similar projects are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS card with the 360 excavator ticket.
• Proven experience operating a 360 excavator on construction sites.
• Reliable transport to the Carlisle site.

Responsibilities

• Operate the 360 Excavator (likely >10 tonnes) safely and efficiently on-site.
• Dig foundations, trenches, and general excavation tasks.
• Break out and move materials including tarmac and rubble.
• Assist with lifting operations if certified and required.
• Coordinate with groundworkers and site management to maintain schedule.
• Conduct daily plant checks and report defects.
