Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a reliable 360 Excavator Operator for a fast-paced Carlisle construction site on a 6-week contract. Immediate start and competitive hourly rate offered.

You will operate a 360 excavator (>10 tonnes) on a site developing a new commercial building (Burger King) and will perform essential groundwork duties while coordinating with groundworks and site management to stay on schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS with 360 ticket (Above 10 tonne highly desirable).
• Demonstrable experience operating a 360 Excavator in construction.
• Full PPE is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the 360 excavator (likely above 10-tonne) safely and efficiently.
• Dig concrete foundations, trenches, and general excavation.
• Break out and move materials, including tarmac and rubble.
• Assist with lifting operations (if certified and required).
• Work closely with groundworkers and site management to keep the project on schedule.
• Conduct daily plant checks and report defects.

Duration: 6 weeks

Hourly Rate: £23.00 - £24.00 per hour (DOE)

Are you an experienced 360 Excavator Operator looking for immediate work in the Carlisle area? We are seeking a reliable and skilled operator to join a fast-paced commercial construction project.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a 360-degree excavator on-site, performing essential groundwork duties for the development of a new commercial building (Burger King).

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Operating the 360 Excavator (likely above 10-tonne) safely and efficiently.

• Breaking out and moving materials, including tarmac and rubble.


• Assisting with lifting operations (if certified and required).

Requirements:

• Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).


• Reliable transport to the site location in Carlisle.
