Job summary

The 360 Excavator Operator role at I & H Brown Limited supports civil engineering projects by safely operating excavators and collaborating with site teams to ensure quality and efficiency. Compliance with SHEQ policies is essential.

Candidates must hold a valid CPCS/NPORS card, a full UK driving licence and proven experience with 360 excavators on civil works across Scotland. Competitive hourly rate with overtime and progression on major UK projects are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS card (with CPCS hologram) for relevant plant.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Proven experience operating 360 excavators in civil engineering environments.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to operate across multiple sites throughout Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of 360-degree excavators for excavation, demolition, lifting and material handling.
• Perform daily pre-start checks and report defects promptly.
• Digging, trenching, backfilling, grading and loading per site requirements.
• Carry out lifting operations in line with lifting plans and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers and ground teams to meet programmes.
• Follow site method statements, risk assessments and traffic management plans.
• Maintain good housekeeping of plant and working areas.
• Support wider site operations to assist project delivery.
• Adhere to SHEQ policies and company management systems.
• Attend training and development activities (in person or via eLearning).
• Undertake any duties as reasonably assigned.
