Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property in Carlisle is seeking an experienced 360 Excavator Operator for immediate start on a 6-week project. You will operate a 360 excavator (>10 tonnes) on a busy commercial site, performing essential groundwork for a new building (Burger King).

Responsibilities include digging foundations, trenches, breaking out tarmac and rubble, and assisting with lifting operations where certified. You must have a valid CPCS/NPORS ticket and reliable transport to Carlisle.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS card with 360 ticket (Above 10 tonne highly desirable).
• Experience operating a 360 Excavator in construction.
• Full PPE provided and required on site.

Position: 360 Excavator Operator / 360 Operative

Location: Carlisle, Cumbria (CA6 area)

Start Date: ASAP (Immediate Start)

Duration: 6 weeks

Hourly Rate: 23.00 - 24.00 per hour (DOE)

Are you an experienced 360 Excavator Operator looking for immediate work in the Carlisle area? We are seeking a reliable and skilled operator to join a fast-paced commercial construction project.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a 360-degree excavator on-site, performing essential groundwork duties for the development of a new commercial building (Burger King).

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Operating the 360 Excavator (likely above 10-tonne) safely and efficiently.
• Digging concrete foundations, trenches, and general excavation.
• Breaking out and moving materials, including tarmac and rubble.
• Assisting with lifting operations (if certified and required).
• Working closely with groundworkers and site management to keep the project on schedule.
• Conducting daily plant checks and reporting any defects.

Requirements:

• Valid CPCS or NPORS card with the relevant 360 Excavator ticket (Above 10 tonne is highly desirable).
• Demonstrable experience operating a 360 Excavator in a construction environment.
• Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Reliable transport to the site location in Carlisle.
