Job summary

A local recruitment agency in Northern Ireland is seeking a Class 7.5 tonne Waste Management Driver for immediate start. The role involves waste collection, street cleansing, and compliance with health and safety procedures. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with 7.5 tonne vehicles and hold a Full Drivers CPC. Compensation is £14.85 per hour, with hours Monday to Thursday, 07:00am to 16:45pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience with a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
• Ability to read instructions and communications.
• Knowledge of manual handling and assisting drivers while reversing.

Responsibilities

• Provision of Waste Resource Management Services including waste collection.
• Conduct street and environmental cleansing.
• Deliver stores items and assist with Household Recycling Centre functions.

3 x Class 7.5 tonne Waste Management Drivers - Antrim

We are currently seeking a Waste Management Driver Category C1 for immediate start in Antrim

Hours & Pay

£14.85 per hour

Monday – Thursday

07:00am – 16:45pm

Main Purpose of Job

Provision of Waste Resource Management (WRM) Services including the collection of waste (residual & recyclable waste/resource) from the kerbside; street cleansing; environmental cleansing; delivery of stores items; and Household Recycling Centre functions in accordance with the quality standards set.

Key Competencies & Qualifications

• Basic literacy (ability to read instructions/communications)
• Flexible approach
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of health and safety procedures including manual handling and assisting driver whilst reversing.
• Computer literate (to use TMS for holidays/GPS)
• Minimum of 2 years experience - 7.5 tonne vehicle
• Full Drivers CPC required
