Smiths News is seeking a Warehouse Packer and Driver for 3.5 Tonne operations in Exeter. You will sort, pack and return newspapers and magazines, ensuring items are labeled and packed for transit. A valid UK photo-card license and a capable driving record are required.

The role involves loading and unloading deliveries, maintaining accuracy, and meeting daily targets in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a fixed hourly rate and opportunities for progression within our distribution

Qualifications

• Driving licence with minimum 2 years experience and up to 6 points.
• Ability to lift heavy items.
• Physically demanding role.

Responsibilities

• Look after distribution and returns.
• Sort, pack and return newspapers and magazines.
• Label, sort and pack parcels for dispatch.
• Load/unload deliveries and navigate deliveries.
• Drive a 3.5 tonne delivery van.
