Job summary

Tudor Employment Agency Ltd are recruiting for 3.5T Van Drivers to join our client in Halesowen. Working hours are 7.30am – 4.30pm with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

You will deliver and collect goods using a 3.5T van and may assist with warehouse duties as required. The role requires a full UK driving licence; van experience is preferred but not essential, and some long-distance work (up to 1.5 hours travel) may be involved.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Van driving experience preferred but not essential (up to 1.5 hours travel).
• Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting up to 25kg.
• Good timekeeping and a strong work ethic.
• Willing to assist with unloading and warehousing duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect goods using a 3.5T van.
• Load and unload stock safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Plan and follow delivery routes to meet schedules.
• Obtain proof of delivery from customers.
• Keep vehicle clean and well maintained.

• Keep accurate delivery records and paperwork.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence
• Previous van driving experience preferred but not essential (some long distance may be required – upto 1.5hour travel)
• Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting
• Good timekeeping and a strong work ethic
• This position will also require you assist with the unloading of goods being delivered and can require lifting up to 25kg, ideal for drivers who don’t mind hands - on work alongside driving.
