Job summary

Major Recruitment Ashford is seeking a driver for Fulbourn to pick, pack and deliver products using an in-house scanner system. You will drive 3.5-tonne vehicles, completing up to 10 drops per night across around 30 customer sites while receiving and storing stock from our European Distribution Centre.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, experience with 3.5t vehicles, and flexibility to cover holidays or sickness.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (min. 3 years, max 6 points).
• Experience driving 3.5t vehicles (Sprinter/Transit).
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
• FLT licence and knowledge of the automotive industry are a plus (not essential).
• Willing to work different shifts to cover holidays or sickness.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Need

Pay & Benefits

• Days £13.05-13.29 per hour Standard Rate - Overtime Rate £19.57
• Nights £14.68-14.93 per hour - Overtime rate £19.58-£19.94 40 hours per week (nightshift 42 hours)
• Quarterly bonus up to £450 after 3 months
• 28 days' holiday (including bank holidays) + 1 extra day per year of service (up to 5 years)
• Pension plan with up to 8% employer contribution (after 3 months)
