Job summary

Booker is seeking delivery drivers to join our local delivery team, responsible for loading stock, delivering to regular customers, and maintaining accurate paperwork.

This is a 45-hour week on an Any 5 from 7 contract with some weekend work. A Cat B / 3.5T licence and prior delivery experience are preferred. Strong customer service and literacy/numeracy skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Cat B / 3.5T licence required.
• Two years of driving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Good literacy and numeracy required.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the Branch and unload at the customer premises.
• Deliver to regular customers and maintain a high standard of service.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.

Working on an Any 5 from 7 contract, our shift patterns will include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

Cat B / 3.5T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
