Job summary

Booker is seeking a delivery driver to perform local driving and build relationships with regular customers. You will be part of a delivery team ensuring on-time deliveries and great service.

This role operates across a 7‑day schedule, with potential weekend shifts. Overtime opportunities are available and you will load/unload stock and complete delivery paperwork accurately.

Qualifications

• Cat B / 3.5T licence held for delivery driving
• At least two years’ driving experience
• Delivery driving experience preferred
• Able to carry out manual deliveries
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good literacy and numeracy

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately
• Keep customers shelves stocked and deliveries on time

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

• Cat B / 3.5T Licence
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years)
• Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good level of literacy and numeracy
