Job summary

Booker Group in the United Kingdom is looking for delivery drivers to join the local delivery fleet in Chichester. Working 45 hours per week on an Any 5 from 7 contract, you will drive locally, load stock, and build relationships with regular customers to ensure deliveries arrive on time with a friendly, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Cat B / 3.5T licence required or valid equivalent.
• At least two years of driving experience.
• Delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries and heavy lifting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure shelves are stocked and customers receive needed products.
• Load stock into the delivery vehicle and unload at customer premises.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

• Cat B / 3.5T Licence
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years)
• Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good level of literacy and numeracy
