Job summary

DPD Group is hiring a 3.5 Tonne Collection and Delivery Driver at the Croydon depot. You will be the face of the brand, delivering parcels with a friendly, professional approach and using handheld tech to optimize routes.

You’ll work FTC until Jan 15, 2027, with a 40-hour week. The role requires a valid UK driving licence (12+ months) and physical fitness to lift up to 30 kg. Training and progression opportunities exist within the company.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence for at least 12 months.
• Physically able to lift up to 30 kg.
• Be friendly, reliable and professional.
• Comfortable navigating local roads and using handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle prep and loading: conduct daily vehicle safety checks and organise parcels for the route.
• Route mastery: use handheld tech to navigate and provide accurate delivery windows.
• Customer interaction: deliver smiles and parcels directly to doorsteps with a professional service.
• Problem solving on the go: find safe places and navigate complex buildings for first-time delivery.
• Safe handling: ensure security of vehicle and parcels up to 25 kg each.
