Job summary

Brakes, part of Sysco GB, is hiring a Van Driver in Brighton. 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6:00–15:30. Responsibilities include accurate picking, delivering customer orders, and maintaining product temperatures in a multi-temperature vehicle.

You’ll perform DVSA-compliant vehicle checks, follow SSOW and hygiene rules, and handle food products safely. A driver development programme is available for progression to HGV2.

A satisfying role

You'll need to pay attention for accuratelypicking on vehicle and delivery of customer orders and maintaining product temperatures in a multi-temperature-controlled vehicle. You'll need awareness of Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA)Complianceto ensure your vehicle checks are completed to a high standard to ensure roadworthiness. The role includes manual handling of our food produce to the customers premises so you will need to comply with Health and Safety (SSOW), hygiene and other related legislation.

A qualified 3.5/7.5t Driver with extensive road knowledge of our local area and a proactive approach to your work, you have what it takes to excel with Us:
