Job summary

Brakes in Durham is recruiting a Van Driver to join the team. The role is full-time with early starts (5am) and occasional Saturdays. You will deliver to customers, manage temperatures in a multi-temperature vehicle, and ensure DVSA checks and safety procedures are followed.

A satisfying role

You’ll need to pay attention for accurately picking on vehicle and delivery of customer orders and maintaining product temperatures in a multi-temperature-controlled vehicle. You’ll need awareness of Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) Compliance to ensure your vehicle checks are completed to a high standard to ensure roadworthiness. The role includes manual handling of our food produce to the customers premises so you will need to comply with Health and Safety (SSOW), hygiene and other related legislation.
