Steer Staffing Ltd is recruiting for a 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver in Wednesbury. You will deliver to homes and offices, supported by a driver’s mate, with routes pre-planned each day.

You must have a full UK driving licence (max 6 points) and a clean DBS. Working hours are 12pm–9pm, five days on, three days off.

• Ability to handle heavy goods.
• Clean DBS certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle daily.

• Load/unload and manage packaging at delivery points.
• Follow pre-planned routes and pre-call customers before arrival.
• Complete delivery paperwork as required.

Steer Staffing are currently recruiting for 3.5 tonne Delivery Drivers, to join a distribution and delivery company based in Wednesbury, this role will be 5 days on 3 days off 12pm - 9pm

You will be delivering customers orders to their houses and office sites, working with a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries route plans are put together for your daily, and your vehicle is pre loaded each morning.

The duties of the 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver include:

• Driving a 3.5 ton vehicle on a daily basis
• Working with a drivers mate
• Delivering customers orders to their homes and offices
• Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role
• Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time
• Following a delivery route, which is pre planned for you
• Pre calling customers before arrival
• Filling in paperwork as and when required
• Removing all packaging from each delivery

The ideal 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver will have:

• Experience within a similar role
• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
• The ability to handle heavy goods
• A clean DBS

The hours of work for the 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver are 5 days on 3 days off, the working days cover any 5 over Monday – Sunday, you must be available to work between the hours of 12pm – 9pm.

The salary for the 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver will be £13.63 per hour,. Any hours over 45 will be paid at time and a half
