Job description

Temporary Level 2 Teaching Assistant - 2 posts available.

To commence 1st September 2025 (temporary for a year in the first instance).

Maesmarchog Primary School is looking to appoint 2 Level 2 teaching assistants. The post will be temporary until 31st August 2026 and will be reviewed at the end of the year. The post will require the successful applicant to work with groups of children and form part of a team of teaching assistants working across the primary phase.

We will be seeking the following skills/personal qualities:

• Enthusiasm and self motivation
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
