Job description

Salary: £24,790- £26,409 per annum (pro-rata’d) (£18,524 - £19,733 actual - 32 hours per week term-time only)

Positions Available:
  1. 2x Temporary Teaching Assistant Level 2+ (until 31.8.25 in first instance)
    32 hours per week / term time only (39 weeks per year) BASED AT YSGOL MAES Y COED, BRYNCOCH, NEATH
  2. 1x Temporary Teaching Assistant Level 2+ (until 31.8.25 in first instance)
    32 hours per week / term time only (39 weeks per year) BASED AT SATELLITE CLASS WITHIN AFAN COLLEGE, MARGAM, PORT TALBOT.

The Governors wish to appoint the above teaching assistants with effect from March 2025 to work within this exciting and developing school, including our satellite provision at Afan College.

Experience of working in a school with pupils with severe/profound learning needs is essential. Successful applicants must be able to work in a team and show initiative.
