Job summary

Castle Employment is assisting an established business in Malton to recruit an IT Support Technician (2nd Line). The role is hands-on, joining an in-house IT team to provide 1st and 2nd line support to users across the business, with on-site work in Malton.

The successful candidate will have strong 1st and 2nd line troubleshooting skills, be capable of taking ownership of issues through to resolution, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an IT Support, Service Desk or similar technical support role
• Strong 1st and 2nd line troubleshooting capability
• Comfortable providing hands-on support directly to users
• Able to take ownership of technical issues through to resolution
• Confident communicating with technical and non-technical colleagues

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to users across the business
• Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day IT issues
• Work as part of an established internal IT team on-site in Malton
