Currently, we are seeking an enthusiastic and technically skilled IT Services Team Lead / 3rd Line IT Engineer to support Nelsons Solicitors across Nottingham, Leicester, and Derby.

About The Role

We are looking for a motivated 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will provide technical support, ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems, and resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide 2nd line support for IT issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from the 1st line support team.
3. Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and applications.
4. Monitor system performance and ensure data security and integrity.
5. Collaborate with IT team members to improve IT services.
6. Document support activities and resolutions accurately.
7. Provide training and guidance to 1st line support staff and end-users as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a 2nd line support or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and common software applications.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and configuration.
• Experience with Intune and SharePoint is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Hands-on attitude required.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are advantageous.
