Job summary

Click is recruiting a 2nd Line Support Analyst on contract to join a leading Defence organisation based in Hull. You will handle incident and request tasks, act as the 2nd line resolver for incidents per SLA, and support both internal and external project managers.

The role requires hands-on IT hardware, software installation, and strong Windows OS knowledge, with ITSM tooling experience expected. SC clearance is a consideration.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Windows 10/11, build and registry settings.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN/VLAN, DHCP/DNS and VPN.
• Knowledge of ITSM tooling and incident management processes.
• Experience with Active Directory basics and SCCM is a plus.
• Familiarity with printers and peripheral devices.

Responsibilities

• Handle incident and request tasks.
• Provide 2nd line support to resolve incidents within SLA.
• Maintain target incident rate (2% per month).
• Complete assigned work within timeframes.
• Support project tasks with internal/external project managers.
• Tackle non-standard requests within agreed timescales.
• Coordinate with Level 3 teams for major issues.
• Troubleshoot hardware, network, printer issues.
• Install and configure software and hardware.
