prosource.it is seeking an experienced Privacy Specialist to lead regulatory compliance and data protection initiatives in the UK/EU context. The role focuses on GDPR, policy maintenance, DPIAs, incident response, and audits.

A relevant degree and privacy certifications (CIPP/E, CIPM) are preferred. The position is part-time (2 days per week) with a contractor or permanent option and a competitive day rate.

We are seeking an experienced Privacy Specialist to lead regulatory compliance and data protection initiatives. In this role, you will ensure adherence to UK data protection laws and GDPR, develop and maintain privacy policies, manage risk assessments, and conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments for new projects. You’ll oversee incident response, audits, and continuous improvement to keep pace with evolving privacy regulations. The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree, professional privacy certification (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM), and brings proven experience in UK/EU privacy roles, with strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities. This is a part-time position working 2 days per week.
