Barnsley Hospital is seeking a Band 6 Team Leader for the Endoscopy Unit. The role involves management duties, driving high standards of operations, and leading a skilled team in an innovative healthcare environment. The successful candidate should have significant Endoscopy experience and be a registered nurse committed to excellence.
An exciting opportunity exists on the EndoscopyUnit at Barnsley Hospital for a Band 6 Team Leader.
The role will include management of the unit andleading the unit in the absence of the Lead Nurse.
We are looking for an innovate and hardworking registered practitioner.The post holder should have experience and indepth knowledge of endoscopy.
Duties to include daily management of the unit, includingstaffing, supporting staff attendance.
Budgetary responsibilities for stock items, attending meetings,dealing with incidents and complaints.
Working alongside our JAG and Clinical Education Leads toensure that our unit and staff are performing to high standards.
There will be an expectation for you to cover the oncallservice that will be over and above the contracted hours to ensure 24/7emergency cover.
There will be further opportunities for you to develop yourskills and abilities within the unit and also external training courses.
