Job summary

Millbay Academy is seeking exam invigilators to join our experienced team. You will support the conduct of mock and external exams, supervising candidates, ensuring JCQ and RSAT procedures are followed, and maintaining exam room security and confidentiality.

Successful applicants will work a variety of shifts during the school day, with training provided. Prior experience is helpful, but full training will be offered to ensure high standards of exam integrity and fairness.

• Training will be provided for all successful applicants.

Responsibilities

• Supervise examinations to ensure JCQ and RSAT compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of examination materials.

Post: Exam Invigilator

Location: Millbay Academy, 22 Millbay Road, Plymouth PL1 3EG

Hourly Salary Range: NJC Grade B Pt 3-4; £13.28 - £13.49

Contract Type: Casual, hours to be negotiated with school.

We are recruiting for exam invigilators to join our current experienced invigilation team. Successful applicants will be offered a range of shifts during the school day to support the school with their exams timetable for mock exams held in November and February and the external exams in May/June. The successful candidate will have a good standard of education and be able to work within a team . Relevant experience would be an advantage however, training will be provided by the Exams Officer.

The role of the invigilator

To ensure that examinations are conducted according to the Joint Council Qualifications (JCQ) and Reach South Academy Trust (RSAT). The invigilator will ensure all candidates have an equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and to prevent possible candidate or administrative malpractice.

Invigilators must ensure the confidentiality and security requirements, regarding examination materials, before, during and after examinations, and that the invigilation process is followed at all times
