Job summary

Reach South Multi Academy Trust is seeking an AP Administrator in Bodmin to provide comprehensive administrative support across the provision, ensuring key operational, financial, HR and compliance processes run efficiently.

You will often be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, contractors and external agencies, helping to create a welcoming and professional environment. Role is 16 hours per week, term-time only, with flexibility discussed at offer stage.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths at C/4 or above.
  • Experience in a busy administrative environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to school leaders and staff.
  • Manage correspondence, data entry, filing and general office administration.
  • Be the first point of contact for visitors, deliveries and enquiries.
  • Support premises and health & safety compliance processes.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices and financial records.
  • Liaise with supply agencies and support staff onboarding.
  • Support exam administration and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records and confidentiality at all times.

Post: AP Administrator

Location: ACE WRAP Bodmin, 16 Callywith Gate, Launceston Road, Bodmin, Cornwall, PL31 2RQ

FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade D point 8-14 - £27,709 - £30,515

Actual Salary Range: £10,663.19 - £11,72.99

Contract Type: Permanent, part-time, term-time only

Contract Hours: 16 per week

ACE Schools is seeking a dedicated AP Administrator to support the smooth and effective operation of our alternative provision setting. Working alongside a small, committed team of teachers, teaching assistants and pastoral staff, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with complex social, emotional and behavioural needs.

About the role

As AP Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across the provision, ensuring that key operational, financial, HR and compliance processes run efficiently. About the successful candidate

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

Essential
  • GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics.
  • Experience working in a busy administrative environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with financial administration and office systems.
  • Knowledge of compliance, health & safety or premises-related processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Welcome to ACE schools. At ACE we are proud to provide education to young people aged from 4-16 who are not currently accessing mainstream or special school provision.
