Job summary

Pilgrim Primary Academy is seeking two cleaners to join our school. Duties include general cleaning of classrooms, offices, corridors and washrooms, with 10 hours per week across 41 weeks and a further 20 hours during the Summer Holidays for a deep clean.

The posts offer a Grade A salary (£25,614 pro-rata per annum) and an actual salary of £6,426, along with LGPS pension and opportunities for progression. Closing date 29th October 2026; interview on 4th November 2026.

The Role

We are looking to recruit two new cleaners to join our friendly team. Duties include general cleaning of classrooms, offices, corridors and washrooms. You will be required to work 41 weeks per year (10 hours per week, 3.15pm - 5.15pm Monday to Friday plus a week’s deep clean in the Summer Holidays (20 hours) with flexibility for extra cleaning throughout the day if required.
