Job summary

Spectrum Society for Community Living in Surrey is seeking a part-time permanent CSW to support a vibrant lady with daily living needs. Shifts are 4 hours, 8 hours per week, with some flexibility and occasional North Vancouver visits to visit family.

You will help organize belongings, assist with employment search, and accompany activities like gym, swimming, and library visits. The role requires empathy, patience, and the ability to motivate and engage.

• Experience and knowledge of generational trauma is required.
• Supporting People who get anxious.
• Ability to motivation, encourage and engage others.
• Assisting people to find employment or support them in the workplace.

Highlights

This is an opportunity to support a vibrant lady who lives in Surrey. TN enjoys going to the gym, swimming, walks and reading at the library. She will sometimes ask for assistance in organizing her belongings or looking for employment. In the summer she likes to go to Playland and the Richmond night market. Some shifts could be in North Vancouver, as TN has family she goes to visit on the North Shore.
