Job summary

Tyne Housing is recruiting Support Workers for a new short-term accommodation service in Sunderland, providing 24/7 staffing to people experiencing homelessness with complex needs. You will deliver person-focused support and activities to help residents build confidence and move toward lasting independence.

Roles operate on a double-cover basis with overnight supervision; some day and night shifts on a six-week rota.

• Experience with vulnerable people may be useful.
• Empathy, good communication and listening are essential.

Responsibilities
