Job summary

Together for Mental Wellbeing in Bexhill-on-Sea is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist residents at Elva Court, a 13-bed supported accommodation. You will work 37.5 hours per week on a site-based rota, helping residents with daily living tasks, promoting independence and safety while upholding recovery principles.

You will join a friendly, training-focused team, receive DBS clearance, and have opportunities for professional development and career progression in a national charity that

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting vulnerable individuals.
• GCSE or Level II qualification in English or equivalent.
• Basic competence in email and word processing.
• Demonstrate empathy and ability to create a trusting environment.
• Willingness to work varying shifts and sleep-in shifts if needed.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain trust with service users and support tenancy move-on.
• Work with service users in homes and in the community.
• Carry out risk assessments and coordinate referrals.
