Pertemps Bond is seeking a Delivery Planner in Brinsworth to join our 24/7 delivery planning team. You will coordinate drivers, vehicles and customer requirements to ensure timely bulk deliveries. The role emphasizes accuracy, communication and proactive problem-solving in a busy operation.

Candidates should have logistics experience, strong IT skills and a customer-service mindset. The role offers 42 hours per week and shift patterns including weekdays, weekends, and occasional night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transport planning or supply chain operations.

• Good IT skills, including spreadsheets and data analysis.
• Understanding of UK transport networks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily delivery schedules for bulk customers.
• Act as a key point of contact for customer delivery queries and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
• Monitor customer stock levels, orders and telemetry information to anticipate delivery requirements.
• Coordinate drivers, vehicles, product availability and transport movements to optimise resources.
• Respond to unexpected delivery and operational issues with practical solutions while maintaining service.
• Work with customers, drivers, transport teams, sales colleagues and product supply.
• Support responses to transport emergencies and minimise disruption to customers.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure systems and quality procedures are kept up to date.
• Plan and book daily shipping with Irish Sea ferry operators, optimising low-cost sailings without compromising service.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, customer service and logistics planning.
