Job summary

Pertemps Sheffield is recruiting for a Transport Planner at Manton Wood, Worksop. Immediate start on a temp-to-perm basis. The role focuses on coordinating transport schedules, drivers and vehicle movements to keep deliveries on track.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in related roles such as transport administration, logistics, warehousing or supply chain is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and coordinating daily transport schedules, routes and loads.
• Help allocate vehicles and drivers to meet operational requirements.
• Monitor deliveries and adjust plans when priorities change.
• Communicate with drivers, colleagues and other departments to resolve issues.
• Keep planning information and systems up to date.
• Help maintain efficient transport operations and meet deadlines.
