Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a Band 3 Control Room Operator to join the secure services team at Tamarind Centre, Birmingham. The role involves first-line contact, coordinating safety and security in a 24/7 reception control room, and supporting the MSU network across sites.

You will work 37.5 hours per week in a permanent contract, with shifts including nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Formación

• Trained to NVQ or equivalent standard in a related area of practice such as Customer Care.
• Ability to operate technology based equipment.
• Experience of working in mental health settings.

Responsabilidades

• Provide quality customer care to visitors and service users in the reception control room.
• Ensure integrity of safety and security provisions and respond to incidents.
• Act as main point of contact for all visitors to Secure and Complex Care Programme locations.
• Work as part of a team or lone for 24-hour coverage, including nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Undertake training and qualify as a first aider to provide 24-hour coverage.
