Compass Group in the UK seeks an experienced Catering Manager to lead the 24/7 operation in a busy distribution centre. You will manage a team of around 10, delivering breakfast and lunch to 400–450 covers daily while controlling stock, labour, and costs to meet budgets.

The role requires strong food safety standards and a proactive approach to client relations and continuous improvement in a high-volume setting.

• Experience leading high-volume catering operations.
• Strong budget control and cost mgmt experience.
• Proven ability to lead a team of ~10 people.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day catering operation in a 24/7 distribution centre.
• Deliver high-quality food for 400-450 covers per day.
• Manage stock, labour, costs and waste to meet budgets.
• Plan breakfast and lunch menus for a diverse workforce.
• Ensure food safety, health and safety, hygiene and compliance.
• Build relationships with clients and drive customer satisfaction.
