Join our dedicated pharmacy team at St John’s Hospital and play a vital role in supporting the safe provision of medicines within a hospital services environment.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual to work as a Pharmacy Support Worker within the Area Stores Department at St John’s Hospital in Livingston. The successful candidate will be part of a hardworking, highly motivated team contributing to the timely and safe supply of vaccines to ensure the delivery of the National Immunisation Programmes across NHS Lothian. You should be organized, flexible, motivated, able to work under pressure, and enjoy interaction with healthcare staff.
Duties include receipt of vaccine deliveries, ensuring correct storage, and assembly of vaccine orders for dispatch to various vaccination centres, GP surgeries, health centres, and educational institutions, maintaining cold chain procedures at all times.
Previous pharmacy experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
This is a full-time role involving participation in working Public Holidays and an early/late shift roster.
