Job description

Our modern and friendly Neonatal unit consists of 2 ITU/HDU and 7 Special care cots.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated nurse who is looking to develop their career within this specialised area of nursing to help strengthen the Neonatal nursing team on the unit. This vacancy has been developed to support the unit to meet the current British Association of Perinatal Medicine standards for Neonatal staffing.

The candidate should possess a passion for improving the health and wellbeing of our babies and families; enthusiasm to embrace change; resilience when working with complex families; and be required to work to ensure effective service delivery.

The successful candidate will be required to meet the needs of the Neonatal service within the Children, Young People and Sexual Health Directorate.

This post is fixed term until 31st December 2025.
