Job summary

AIG’s Summer Internship Program offers a hands‑on introduction to underwriting within a fast‑paced, global insurer. The 8‑week internship runs from 14 June to 6 August 2027 in the Accident & Health team, with chances to work on projects and learn from experienced underwriters while building a professional network.

Interns may be considered for the Graduate Analyst program starting in September 2028. The program emphasizes in‑person collaboration, training sessions, and a broad Total Rewards

Our UK Summer Internship Program will run from 14June to 6August 2027, and internships will be available in our Accident & Health team. Make your mark in Underwriting AIG Underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, and Multinational Clients. We are reimagining how we help customers to manage risk, transforming our operating model and reshaping our role responsibilities and career pathways. The goal is to unlock the full potential in each colleague – empowering our people to grow as insurance professionals and add more value to our customers and AIG.

About the AIG Early Career Programme

AIG’s Summer Interns are immersed in the day‑to‑day operations of a fast‑moving, global insurance company. During the 8‑week program, you will gain valuable, hands‑on experience and insurance industry knowledge, working with leaders on dynamic projects, with plenty of opportunity for challenges, learning and achievement. Summer Interns join one of our key business teams, which offers a unique opportunity to obtain core technical knowledge and professional skills in a diverse environment. In addition to meaningful on‑the‑job experiences, interns will join instructor‑led masterclasses, hear directly from senior leaders, and build meaningful connections through mentoring circles, networking events and volunteering. Following completion of the internship program, interns may be considered for a permanent role in the Graduate Analyst program beginning in September 2028.
