AIG in the UK invites you to join its 8-week Summer Internship Program in Manchester, running from 14 June to 6 August 2027. Internships will be available in Financial Lines and Casualty, offering hands-on exposure to the claims process within our global insurer.

You will work with leaders on real projects, participate in masterclasses, mentoring circles and networking events, and gain valuable industry knowledge and professional skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2028.
• Previous work or volunteering experience in any industry or sector.
• Evidence of extra‑curricular activities.
• A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Motivated, proactive, accountable and willing to learn.

Our UK Summer Internship Program will run from 14 June to 6 August 2027 and internships will be available in Financial Lines and Casualty. About the AIG Early Career Programme AIG’s Summer Interns are immersed in the day-to‑day operations of a fast‑moving, global insurance company. During the 8‑week program, you will gain valuable, hands‑on experience and insurance industry knowledge, working with leaders on dynamic projects, with plenty of opportunity for challenges, learning and achievement. Summer Interns join one of our key business teams, which offers a unique opportunity to obtain core technical knowledge and professional skills in a diverse environment. In addition to meaningful on‑the‑job experiences, interns will join instructor‑led masterclasses, hear directly from senior leaders, and build meaningful connections through mentoring circles, networking events and volunteering. Following completion of the internship program, interns may be considered for a permanent role in the Graduate Analyst program beginning in September 2028.
