What You'll Be Doing
  • Perform routine analytical testing using both traditional techniques and advanced instruments (e.g. XRF, XRD, ICP-OES, Ion Chromatography, and more)
  • Test raw materials, in-process samples, and final products
  • Maintain high standards in laboratory conditions, equipment calibration, and documentation
  • Follow all safety and environmental procedures
  • Get involved in continuous improvement initiatives like Lean, 5S and method development
  • Organise own workload and work to agreed priorities
  • Support the team to meet key performance indicators and company goals

    • BTEC: Distinction in Chemistry-related subject and Merit in Maths
  • Must meet MMU entry requirements for the Laboratory Science Degree Apprenticeship
